I am working behind the scenes with two international organizations in order to “legitamize” our ranking system and provide our students with third party rank recognition.

I feel this is important in the event that any student wishes to pursue the teaching of either of our art forms at a facility other than our studio.

I personally have had to struggle with this multiple times in the past such as when asked to supply certifications for teaching positions at other facilities or even when applying for club insurance.

Once this project is completed each of our students will have a greater level of comfort knowing that the rank that has been awarded to them is registered with an international organization and they can rely on that organization to back up their claim of competence whenever required.

I am also in talks with one of these organizations to perhaps sit on their board/council to represent the internal arts.

On another note, I am also in talks with a MA Grandmaster to perhaps devise a program that will add a level of knowledge to the Taiji community that is not readily available to most schools or clubs. This is an exciting project that has the potential to be made available world wide and open up a field of study to the Taiji community that has been hidden for decades.
